24-Count of True Honey Teas Honey Infused Honeybush Tea Pods

The first and only single serve tea in the world to have 100% real natural honey in every pod!

Delicious when brewed either hot or cold over ice

True Honey Teas honeybush is an herbal tea, similar to Rooibos. It brews a slightly sweet, dark red infusion with a mild nutty flavor. Due to its herbal nature, honeybush contains no caffeine. Honeybush is enjoyed hot, on its own or with milk and sweetener to taste.

Honeybush, or cyclopia, is usually grown in a small region of the Western Cape province of South Africa. It gets its name from the Afrikaans translation of “Heuningbos.” Like Rooibos, honeybush is a member of the legume family.

True Honey Teas is a single-serve tea company that puts real honey in every pod. We are a natural foods organization – we advocate honey as a better sweetener and care about our ingredients. We source the highest quality teas with NO added artificial or natural flavors.

Absolutely flavorful (very little additional sweetener needed) Honeybush tea, March 2, 2016

Honey Infused Honeybush Single Serve Tea for Keurig K-Cup Brewers (Box of 24)

A very tasty and soothing single serve K-Cup tea.

The texture of this tea is really smooth and does not have any of the gritty aftertaste that I have found in many other teas I’ve used over the years.

The colors of the tea is a medium caramel color and had its own share of flavor with or without any honey, which is what prefer over sugar. During those rare times I used honey, only one teaspoon was necessary to add just a hint of sweetness.

I tested this K-Cup as a 6 oz., 8 oz. and 10 oz. cup serving.

The 6oz. cup was a richer flavor, the 8oz. was still very good but a little less full bodies. The 10 oz. cup was very light and weak in flavor but ultimately it is left to your own personal preferences.

You can drink this either hot or cold, but I found this to me much more flavorful as a hot beverage.

The 24 pack of K-cup is a really good deal for the taste, content, and overall quality.

Delicious and convenient!, March 7, 2016

I’ve recently become a fan of True Honey Teas and have been slowly trying the different teas that they offer. All the the teas are pretty similar in packaging, form, and great taste – which is a good thing. Here are some of the most important reasons why I like these teas:

No artificial sweeteners or other additives. Just tea and honey.
100% real honey.
The honey is already in the k-cup.
Saves me time.
No need to stir – Saves time and saves me from having to wash another spoon.
Tastes great. Lightly sweet.

Things that could be improved upon:
Compatibility with Keurig 2.0.
Labeling of flavor on each pod.

As for compatibility with Keurig 2.0, it’s not a deal breaker because you can very easily get a freedom clip or special lids or anything else that bypasses Keurig’s drm. Very simple to do and well worth it. I do it everyday. But it would be nice not to have to use anything special. True Honey Teas, just brighten up that orange to the exact orange necessary to make it bypass the drm, please!
As for labeling the flavor on each pod, I know it saves money to have the same label and same packaging as much as possible. I get that. But it would be really nice to know what flavor each are, especially if you have a number of flavors and would like to stack a few here and there with other k-cups.

The way it works: I don’t know for sure, but I think creamed honey is placed in a little paper cup above the dry tea leaves to keep them separated. When you pop this into your Keurig, it punctures a hole on the top and bottom of the k-cup and spews hot water from the top. This hot water melts away the honey towards the bottom along with the hot water. The hot water quickly commingles with the tea and comes out. Obviously, the tea doesn’t really seep like you would normally do with other teas. I’m not sure if the tea leaves are made a certain way to make it so it doesn’t need to be seeped for a couple minutes or so, but I can say that the tea comes out really good.

The Honeybush is real light tea with subtle sweetness. Apparently, the Honebush does not contain caffeine. I’m a fan of caffeine but I’m actually glad this does not have caffeine, so I can drink it during or after dinner.

Don’t forget to check out my pictures!

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask and I will do my best to give you an answer.

I received this at a discount in exchange for my honest, unbiased review. And I do promise it is my honest review. If I experience anything other than what I have expressed in my review at a later date, I promise I’ll be back to give an update to my review 🙂

Perfect for avid tea and honey drinkers who own the original Kerig K Cup Brewers!, March 1, 2016
This review is from: Honey Infused Honeybush Single Serve Tea for Keurig K-Cup Brewers (Box of 24) (Misc.)
I am a avid tea drinker and have been since a child ( my stepmother got me hooked as a pre-teen). Though I like a variety of teas and tend to pick them up souvenirs on all my travels (both in the United States and overseas) I am the same way about honey. I would go as far to say collect them but in this case I consume my collection! I have a soft spot for loose leaf teas but will pretty much give any tea at least one shot.

When I received a offer to try / test these Honey Infused Honeybush Single Serve Tea for Keurig K-Cup Brewers, I figured "what the heck, my husband seems to love the convenience of his kerig, maybe I would like using it if I found the right tea". What intrigued me even more was that this tea pod had infused honey. I have seem tea pods but never any with honey and I love honeybush tea (usually I add honey or caramel to make it a sweet treat) so this seamed like a good tea to test out the kerig with.

I LOVED it! Like other reviewers, I though it was a smooth brew, perfect amount of honey and on the large cup kerig setting was great. My second cup I tried on the second down from the largest size cup setting and actually liked that setting the best. I can’t get over how quick and easy it was in addition to the great taste! The past several days I have drank at least one cup a day. It is perfect for anytime of the day and with the kerig you pop it in, hit brew, and then your out the door in your favorite travel mug. Easy Peasy!

Since I received 24 pack box in the mail I have drank nearly 1/2 off them. Unlike the one reviewer (who said she had a issue with the pods not brewing right), I have had no issues with the brewing process (except maybe my husband isn’t a fan of sharing the kerig with me first thing in the morning now! lol)

I would highly recommend these Honey Infused Honeybush Single Serve Tea for Keurig K-Cup Brewers to all tea drinkers (especially ones who tend to add honey) that own the original Kerig K Cup Brewer. Hands down 5 stars!

As I mentioned, I did receive an offer to try/test this item at a discount in exchange for an honest review. I, myself, rely on reviews when making a purchase from Amazon, or anywhere else online (including items I receiving a discount or for free) and would never endorse a product I did not like or did not think deserved the number of stars I gave it. I am not paid anything nor am I affiliated in any way with this company and/or seller. These are 100% my opinions and experiences. I will update my review if necessary. With that said, if this review did helped you with your purchase, please click "yes" below. Happy shopping!
